The Chemistry and Business program gives me the opportunity to do a senior internship at a chemical or pharmaceutical firm and acquire invaluable experience in the field. What I enjoy most about my courses are their application to the real world and the impact on society. I love that the professors challenge me to apply principles I learn in class to what is happening in the world right now. My business courses have also stressed the importance of having a global perspective, and in today’s world it is more important than ever due to globalization. My goal is to become a marketing manager in the pharmaceutical industry and the global perspective that I have been able to receive from my courses will be an invaluable asset to me in fulfilling my goals.
