Edward J. Neenan is the new Director of Marketing Initiatives for the School of Continuing Studies at Arcadia’s King of Prussia campus.  In his new role, he will be creating and implementing marketing strategies and creative content to brand program offerings.

Before coming on board at Arcadia, he served as Marketing Director at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).  In this position, he headed up graduate and undergraduate efforts for the university’s Department of Information Systems and worked collegially with UMBC’s Office of Institutional Advancement and School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Often referred to as “the voice of UMBC,” Neenan wrote, produced and voiced more than 130 radio commercials in his nearly eight year tenure. He also was on the creative team for UMBC that was recognized with the regional and national 2011 CASE Gold Award for the university’s “Super Heroes” undergraduate multimedia campaign.

Cumulatively, Neenan has more than 10 years in higher education marketing and communications, along with an additional 12 years in marketing and advertising with private organizations.

He is excited to join Arcadia University at a time, he says, when Arcadia is poised for significant growth. “If you’re a marketing professional in today’s fast-evolving higher education environment, you thrive on the opportunity and challenges that Arcadia presents at this point in their history,” Neenan said. “This is a chance for me to honor Arcadia’s heritage while working with university community to build an exciting and sustainable new chapter for The School of Continuing Studies.”
