Exploring Research
Get Ready for
Grad School
"With the help of (Dr. Yanxia), I received a National Science Foundation (NSF) research opportunity to spend the summer in a program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I worked on programming autonomous control (no human control) in unmanned ground vehicles, or mobile robots. This REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program will increase my opportunities for getting into a very good graduate school."
Become a Mentor
"My junior year, I had the opportunity to work with a visiting professor from Germany and to serve as a student mentor for a math class. I held study sessions for students and collaborated with the professor to help improve the course design. The University is always looking to students to enhance the Arcadia experience, and I enjoy the fact that students really have a voice here."
