“We experience the world in real time”
Along with fellow classmates and Professor Thomas Brinker Jr., Business major Robert Marciante '11 journeyed to Dominica twice to learn about the island nation's economics. Marciante explored the emerging eco-tourism industry as well as other businesses in the developing economy.
"Having faculty lead the trip was extremely beneficial because we were able to apply what we learned in the field," says Marciante. "It was a hands-on learning experience, which was very rewarding."
