Legal Affairs and General Counsel
The Office of Legal Affairs and General Counsel represents Arcadia University in a wide variety of legal matters. The Office supports the University’s mission by providing legal advice to meet the University’s specialized and unique needs and works to facilitate informed decision-making in the University’s best interest.
Our goal is to provide legal advice and offer preventative strategies for avoiding future legal problems to faculty, management, and the Board of Trustees.
About Legal Affairs and General Counsel
The Office of Legal Affairs and General Counsel monitors state and federal statutes to ensure University compliance; oversees litigation involving the University; reviews and drafts contracts between the University and outside vendors; coordinates responses to subpoenas and other requests for information or document production; reviews proposed policies and procedures; and handles zoning, tax and other legal issues related to University real estate holdings.
Should you receive any legal document relevant to University business, such as a subpoena, request for records or other request for information, please forward to the Office immediately.
