“I never believed I could go out and see the world, but Arcadia really opened me up to the idea and showed me I could make it a reality. The First Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE) was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m so glad I went for it,” says JoAnn Riker (second from right, above).
“In London, most of my classes were theater courses, so I really got to focus on my minor. For me, the best part of FYSAE was going to the theater. London has the most amazing theater life. It’s such a great experience going out and seeing someone else doing what you’re learning about.”
