“By getting involved in campus life, I am better prepared to become an effective teacher. In high school, I was shy. But after coming to Arcadia and becoming an Orientation Leader and a member of Knight Club, I’ve learned to be more open and confident in myself, especially in front of others. Now, when I walk into the classroom to teach, I am assertive and know how to manage my class. These qualities are essential to becoming an outstanding teacher, and Arcadia gave these skills to me.”
