Transferring Opened Opportunities.

All my life I’ve had an interest in anatomy and the natural world, but I also had the inclination to draw and create. Transferring to Arcadia to major in Scientific Illustration has opened a lot of opportunities for me, including having a library to do my work and research, as well as the space to work on my artwork, both by hand and digitally.
I’ve also been able to attend field trips, such as a trip to Johns Hopkins University. I would normally not have these amazing opportunities and privileges, so having them is very exciting for me.
Scientific Illustration I and II, that I took with Professor Scott Rawlins, are naturally the paramount of my academic experience here at Arcadia. Scott is more than a professor to his students; he is in many ways a mentor. He has provided every resource—from books, materials, videos, specimens and even people through networking—to his students.
