Challenge Yourself.

Alexandra Stoner ’15

Juggling schoolwork with a full training and game schedule with Arcadia’s women’s soccer team is difficult—I love a challenge. In Division III, academics always come first, and everyone is there because they really want to be. Everyone in our conference is serious about training; they have to be. We’re such a competitive conference that the level of play is intense, and I really enjoy that. I am so close with everyone on the team, and that’s what I think being on a team is all about.
All of the prerequisites to enter Arcadia’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program are included in my Biology curriculum. My coursework is very hard, and I have to study a lot, but I know the challenge is preparing me for graduate school.
My academic adviser, Dr. Chad Hoefler, Assistant Professor of Biology, is such a great teacher. His classes are always interesting and interactive, which helps me understand more complex concepts, and motivates me to do well.
