Ida serves as an Administrative and Residential Assistant with the Arcadia Center for East African Studies.

Before joining the Center on November 1, 2012, she attended the Spring 2011 semester. She studied law at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa with a focus on international law especially human rights. She interned with various organizations including the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Nairobi. She also worked as a program associate at the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC).
