Julia began her career at The College of Global Studies as an Apprentice for the Institutional Relations team in August 2012, before assuming the role of Program Representative in March 2013. She attended Penn State University, where she received a B.A. in Telecommunications with a minor in International Studies. While attending Penn State, Julia had the opportunity to study in Florence, Italy, where her passion for language and culture was solidified. After graduation, she earned her TESOL/TESL/TEFL Certification and taught English in Cheonan, South Korea and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Julia has been fortunate enough to travel to places throughout Asia, Africa and Europe, and encourages students to explore. She believes that experiencing the world is life-changing and that every student should have the opportunity to do so.
