Burren College of Art Housing Information
Return to Ireland Housing Information Page
Located between the college and the town of Ballyvaughan, about a half mile each way, the BCA student cottages offer a comfortable setting for students studying art in Co. Clare.
Students live in cottages with fellow students attending the BCA. The total number of students in each cottage may vary, but students should anticipate sharing a bedroom and bathroom. Students’ flats may be co-ed; however any individual roommate will be of the same gender.
Students will be responsible for preparing their own meals and doing their shopping in the town. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and shared living area, with television and modern amenities. Self-service laundry facilities are available. Each cottage has a telephone, but must be accessed by using a calling card.
Shuttle service to and from campus is provided each morning and afternoon. The town of Ballyvaughan is only a short walk and offers students a great opportunity to spend time with locals. To view the BCA housing please visit: www.burrencollege.ie/facilities/accommodation.html.
