About Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV)
The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Chile was founded in 1928 and is one of the most prestigious institutions in the Chilean higher educational system and is recognized as the leading institution in the Valparaiso region. With an enrollment of over 13,000 students, the university hosts about 250 international students each semester. PUCV has a central campus in downtown Valparaíso, only a few blocks away from the Chilean Congress, the brand-new Metro, and the Pacific Ocean, as well as campuses throughout the metropolitan area and in nearby Viña del Mar.
