Cultural Enrichment & Orientation in Australia
"There aren't too many people who can say they've done just a few of the things like sea kayaking, surfing or sand boarding within their lifetime, let alone all in one weekend. The excursions that Arcadia offers are excellent learning experiences that produce memories forever."
- Nick Meeker, RIT student, studied at University of Wollongong with Arcadia
To help you take full advantage of your overseas experience, our resident staff in Australia plans extracurricular excursions and cultural activities that you are invited (and encouraged!) to join.
Included in your program fee is one fully-subsidized, in-state excursion.
Additionally, you may also join your interstate counterparts in other excursions at a greatly-reduced cost.
This initiative not only allows you to spend time with students studying in another part of Australia but also learn more about the vast Australian landscape and culture.
Our Australian staff will discuss this in detail—including dates and how to reserve your place—during orientation. All Arcadia excursions attach great importance to the notions of safety, experiential learning and cultural understanding.
The trips are unique in that they are specifically organized in "off-the-beaten-track" areas and enhanced by the expertise of our fully qualified staff.
For details on some of our recent excursions, refer to the information below.
