Christine joined the academic team as the Assistant Academic Dean of STEM fields in March 2012. She received her B.S. in Chemistry in 2004 at Ursinus College, during which time she had the opportunity to study abroad in London, England. Through her internship with the Biochemistry program at Imperial College, Christine developed an interest in research science. Christine received her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Biochemistry at Duke University in 2011. Her current research interests focus on the computational analysis of electron proton transfer pathways through enzymes. As the Assistant Dean of STEM fields, Christine will focus developing study abroad opportunities that integrate seamlessly with the science, engineering and math curricula. In her free time, Christine enjoys playing with her kids and running in local races.
