In 1994, Arcadia University established a chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. The primary objective of the national Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the recognition and encouragement of superior scholarship in all academic disciplines. Phi Kappa Phi is an honor society, not an honorary society. Membership is earned; it is a true honor. Admission to Phi Kappa Phi is by invitation only and requires nomination by the chapter.

Current criteria for invitation set by the National Office are as follows:

Seniors:

  • Have been registered for at least one year at Arcadia University (24 cr);
  • Are in their last year of study leading to a baccalaureate degree;
  • Rank in the upper 10% of their class.

Juniors:

  • Rank in the upper 7.5% of their class.
