Dr. Thomas Hemmeter

Dr. Thomas Hemmeter has been a life-long cultivator and distributor of knowledge in the fields of English and film studies. Dr. Hemmeter has been happily employed at Arcadia University since 1990 and enjoys the University's traditional yet innovative teaching environment. Although Dr. Hemmeter teaches a wide range of courses, his concentrations are specifically 18th century, British Victorian literature and film studies. Throughout his career, Dr. Hemmeter has been involved with his community through volunteering and organizing literacy groups, progressive political causes in the Glenside area, and most recently teaching English to Korean graduate students at a local Buddhist Temple.
