International Peer Associates League
Overview
International Peer Associates League members (I-PALs) are trained students who help incoming international students adjust to college life at Arcadia University. I-PALs play a key role in helping the Office of International Affairs throughout the year in providing support services to students including but not limited to:
- Orientation
- Peer Mentorship
- Social and Cultural Programming
I-PALs are exemplary Arcadia students who:
- Have completed at least two semesters at Arcadia University
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
- Have an interest in helping others
- Have an interest in learning about other cultures
- Are endorsed by faculty/staff
The benefits of being an I-PAL include:
- Leadership opportunities to improve student services
- Fulfilling “The Arcadia Promise” for yourself and other students
- Attending free cultural events including cultural sensitivity training
- Making friends with a diverse range of Arcadia students
To be eligible for becoming an I-PAL, students must
- Complete the application;
- Have a faculty/staff complete the recommendation form; and
- Return both to the Office of Affairs.
