Current Position: I was working as a high school math special education teacher while buying rental properties throughout Philadelphia. It proved to be a lot working full time in two very different industries. I recently retired from teaching last summer. I am currently a self employed real estate investor. I also am the founder of Note Alliance, LLC. We invest in distressed second mortgages. I have the opportunity to provide passive and active investments, while helping homeowners.
Rewards & Challenges: Hiring and managing interns and young employees. I am able to teach them real practical aspects about business and life. I am able to truly make a difference in their lives.
Best Advice Received: If you find something you like then determine a way that you can make money doing it.
Necessary Skills: My reading and writing skills have helped me immensely. My math reasoning skills have also assisted me in growing my businesses.
My Passion: My passion is mathematics, numbers, educating, and helping people. The best thing about my career is that I am able to learn and grow each and every day.
Education Preparation: The mathematics and relationship building that I learned at Arcadia have greatly helped me in my career.
Advice for Students: Take action. Learn every chance you get. Travel and experience new things. Take an internship. Love every moment of your life.
