About Our Programs

Arcadia offers students a unique and transformative opportunity to explore the concepts of social justice and social change through its interrelated programs in Sociology, Anthropology, Criminal Justice, and Gender and Women’s Studies. Through a diverse, hands-on curriculum that connects students with the community around them, students learn to work effectively among different groups and cultures; and they develop lifelong critical reading, writing and analytical skills that support a wide range of career pursuits. Arcadias’ program is distinguished by its outstanding faculty and sense of community, which instill in students a belief in themselves and their ability to influence social change.
