First Year

Sophomore Year

  • PY 221 Psychology as a Natural Science: Learning and Cognition
  • PY 222 Psychology as a Natural Science: Behavior Neuroscience
  • MA 141 Elementary Statistics
  • PY 142 Research Methods
  • PY 203 Health Psychology
  • One natural science (NP) course outside Psychology

Junior Year

Students spend the junior year abroad taking courses at the University of Stirling (Scotland) or the University of Ulster, Jordanstown (Northern Ireland). Coursework must include a minimum of three courses in Sport Psychology or sports science. See Pathways to Study Abroad.

Senior Year

PY 490, 491 Senior Course. (Students will focus their senior internship and senior thesis on a topic from the area of Sport Psychology.)
