Study Abroad or Study Away Experience During my Senior year of high school, I spent one year studying abroad at a German high school with the CBYX scholarship program. In spring 2011, I traveled to Cuba through Arcadia University Preview. In Fall 2012 I studied domestically in Whittier, California, and in the Spring traveled to Granada, Spain to spend my second semester!

What I love about Arcadia I love that Arcadia isn't only diverse in the sense that our community includes students from all over the world, but we are also diverse in that Arcadia University attracts students from a wide variety of backgrounds, and the genuine lack of social borders enables these very different students to become a tight-knit community.
Why I chose to attend Arcadia One of the reasons I chose to attend Arcadia University is because I had previously been attending a large inner-city school and quickly learned that I wanted a different type of experience, one that was much more personal. I was living only blocks away from my classes, which consisted almost entirely of commuters, and I strongly desired a sense of intimacy which would also help me evolve as an intellectual. Having a relatively rough time personally in my life, I was reminded of how mentally and spiritually nurturing my study abroad experience was and began searching for schools that offered great opportunities. Just a few of the reasons I chose this University.
