Sharon Harris

Adjunct Professor of Business Administration

Sharon Harris received an M.B.A. in Management from Eastern University and a B.S. in Business
Administration from LaSalle University.  She has held various management positions in Operations, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory and Engineering at Verizon Communications.

Harris presented position papers at national and international forecasting conferences, and her work has been published in the Journal of Business Forecasting. She also developed marketing training for a healthcare company and delivered an onsite operations management course for Federal Reserve Bank employees in Philadelphia.

Harris teaches at Arcadia University and Philadelphia University.  She teaches undergraduate Basic Marketing, Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior, Strategic Marketing, Operations Management, Economic Decision Making, Professional Practice Seminar, Capstone Seminar, Cross Cultural Communications and Introduction to Information Systems. She works part time as an academic advisor and has conducted several University-level learning assessments.  Harris was recognized as Professor of the Year at Philadelphia University in May 2010.
