Alumni Walk of Pride
The Alumni Walk of Pride, dedicated on November 15, 1997, is an exquisite pedestrian walkway constructed of interlocking paving stones that are suitable for engraving. The walkway begins at Grey Towers Castle and winds down the hill and past the Wishing Well. Located at the center of Arcadia’s campus and created to complement the surroundings and grounds, this walkway offers a unique opportunity to recognize Arcadia’s students and alumni. Now, and for decades to come, they can be a visible part of the daily life on campus by inscribing their names on one of the walkway’s pavers.
Designed in a basket weave pattern, The Alumni Walk of Pride is made of 4” by 8” autumn-red concrete pavers framed by castle-grey pavers of the same size. Alumni are invited to purchase pavers inscribed with their name and class year (for classes up until 1994). For current students and members of the Class of 1995 and on, pavers are installed in their respective class blocks. The autumn-red pavers in the entranceway have been reserved for alumni who graduated prior to 1995; the castle-grey pavers have been reserved for the alumni of graduate programs. Pavers for alumni graduating after 1995 and current students are placed in the section of the walkway near the Wishing Well.
NO NEED TO WAIT! Current students and all alumni can purchase their pavers now for the next installation.
- $100 for First-Year/Transfer students who purchase or pledge in their first year
