Arcadia University Health Insurance Requirement
PLEASE NOTE: As per university policy, all full time students must have health insurance. All full-time students are automatically charged for health insurance on their tuition bill.

Using any Health Insurance at Student Health Services
Arcadia Student Health Services (SHS) does NOT bill health insurance for appointments with the exception of lab work. SHS does require a copy of the student insurance card in order to efficiently process requests for lab work, pharmacy, or in case of emergency.
Students who come to SHS will NOT have to pay co-pay/visit fee; SHS cannot bill insurance companies to be seen in the office.
Students MAY be charged for any in-office tests, immunizations, and medications they are given. Students may have medications sent to a pharmacy, rather than purchasing it from SHS.
The only procedures that will be processed though the student’s health insurance is lab work.
Students are charged the day of service, and billed to their student account. They are then responsible to submitting claim forms to their individual insurance companies for reimbursement.
