Each year, hundreds of Arcadia University students gain an international perspective with our renowned study abroad programs. Whether it’s a field study course or an extended program abroad, the Global Engagement team helps students learn to think critically and reflect thoughtfully in a rapidly changing global society.
The University’s approved semester- and year-long study abroad programs through The College of Global Studies are designed to excite and inspire students.
The First-Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE) enables invited first-year students to participate in a semester-long study abroad program in London, England.
The Second-Year Study Abroad Experience (SYSAE) enables invited students to participate in semester-long study abroad programs around the world during the fall semester of their second year.
Preview is a full semester course for first-year and new transfer students in the Spring semester that integrates a week-long global field study over semester break.
Global Field Study (GFS) courses are semester-long programs open to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students that include an off-campus field study typically lasting 1-2 weeks.
International Students & Students from Other Universities
Decades of Study Abroad
In the summer of 1948, 17 Beaver College undergraduate women were on a mission of education and discovery in post World War II Europe. On the backs of their bicycles, as the world looked ahead to a bright future, students sought to understand the cooperative spirit of rebuilding from devastation.
THE ARCADIA ADVANTAGE
Enrich Your College Experience
Our students value their international experiences. Whether interning with a foreign company, paced with a member of Parliament, experiencing culture for a summer – a global experience enriches your understanding of the world.
Arcadia University is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The College of Global Studies, as one of the academic units of the institution, recently sponsored the accrediting team to visit and review our London Center.
