Student Philanthropy
Part of being an Arcadian is developing a culture of philanthropy that starts at home on campus and extends to the world. Student clubs like the Society for Castle Restoration and annual events like Empty Bowl make a real difference. Whether it’s Brubaker Hall, seating benches along the Walk of Pride, or the new University Commons student center, we benefit from the generosity of our Alumni. But we don’t have to wait until we graduate. Giving back starts while we are here and continues for a lifetime.
What can you do for your class and Arcadia University right now?
Each class can compete for the highest percentage of participation by contributing just $3 or more annually per student. Contributions will accumulate and be used to underwrite Senior Week expenses and the Senior Class Gift. At the end of each year, the class with the highest participation will win a party with President Tobey Oxholm.
As seniors, each class will use their funds to pay for Senior Week expenses and the remaining class funds to make a meaningful gift to the Arcadia University community or one of our neighboring communities.
Contribute $125* to the Arcadia University Annual Fund by February of your senior year and your name will be linked with Arcadia University forever with an inscribed paver in your class block on the Alumni Walk of Pride.
Contributions may be made with cash or Knight Card at the One Stop Shop or at Blankley Alumni House. For more information, contact Vanessa Jackson, Assistant Director of the Annual Fund, 215-572-2098 or jacksonv@arcadia.edu
