About 15 percent of the population will suffer from clinical depression at some time during their lifetime. Thirty percent of all clinically depressed patients attempt suicide; half of them ultimately die by suicide.
Suicide Prevention
If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide and are struggling to come to terms with this difficulty, Arcadia University’s Counselor Center can help you through confidential, one-on-one counseling, referral to specialized services, and provide you with helpful ways to be a support system for your struggling loved one.
