Artman
Artman is in need of volunteers a few hours a week. They will place you according to your interests. Their wide variety of positions are both rewarding and enjoyable. Internships are available in the Marketing and Public Relations Office.

Holy Redeemer
Volunteers are needed for a variety of positions which include clerical, gift shop cashier, dietary aides, patients assistants, child care helpers, and transporters. Knitters are also needed for “baby Cap” Program. Help is needed to knit caps for babies delivered at Holy Redeemer and require surgery or being put in the neonatal unit. Knitting instructions and yarn are supplied. Internships are offered.

Landis Community Outreach Center

Responsibilities include: promoting student voluntarism through 20+ programs (tutoring, mentoring, working with shelters, youth activity programs, alternative break trips, etc.), supervising undergraduate student interns, serving as college liaison with community service agencies, developing reflection opportunities for student volunteers.

Please Touch Museum

The museum strives to provide a high quality, educational and entertaining first museum experience for children between the ages of one and seven. Volunteers work in the gallery greeting children and helping them appreciate the museum. Internships are available for specific projects.

St. Gabriel’s

St. Gabriel’s offers an after school program for children in grades 1-8 in art and homework assistance. We fulfill our purpose by providing a nurturing atmosphere in which the children can develop their academic skills, build self-esteem, explore their creative talents and add to their sense of community. Volunteers are needed to help fulfill this purpose. Internships are also available.

Women in Transition

A volunteer/internship opportunity for students with the court watch Project. On behalf of Court Watch, trained volunteers sit in the court room to collect information about what is happening, about how people are being treated, and about whether judges and other court personnel communicate clearly and respectfully with defendants and witnesses.

World Teach

World Teach volunteers are making a difference for thousands of school children around the world. World Teach volunteers undergo a 2-3 week orientation, in their host country.  Volunteers teach up to a years time, and will receive housing and a small salary. Volunteers also have the opportunity to travel. This opportunity is open to college students only. Internships are also available.
