Model United Nations
The purpose of the Model United Nations is to build a broad based knowledge of international affairs, multiculturalism, political, and government operations; to foster a better understanding of the structure, purpose, and functioning of the United Nations through participation in collegiate model united nation conferences; to cultivate interest and awareness in international relations and contribute to the philosophy of the University, which encourages learning and personal growth through multicultural experiences; and to prepare students to effectively ultilize communication skills including writing, speaking, and effective argumentation by emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to conference preparation.
