Martin Luther King Day of Service



One-Stop-Drop-Off and Shred Event
On Sunday, January 20th and Monday January 21st, 2013, Arcadia volunteers will join volunteers nationwide, in serving the surrounding community as a way of remembering the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Arcadia will be offering free (maximum security) shredding to the community as well as collecting various items to benefit Habitat for Humanity, Cradles to Crayons, the SPCA, New Life Thrift, Whosoever Thrift, and Lion's Club. We will also be collecting all electronics with a plug which will be recycled in an ethical way. Below are the lists of items being accepted. Please bring your donations to Murphy Hall/Steitler Auditorium between 11AM and 2PM Sunday and Monday (follow signs from Church Rd entrance) and our volunteers will unload your car for you!
Shredding: All paper accepted, staples and binder clips accepted, NO 3-ring binders, 10 standard boxes MAXIMUM per person/organization.
