Study Abroad-Away Experience:

I traveled to Auckland & Rotorua, New Zealand for spring preview during my first year. It was by far the best experience of my life and I will carry the memories I made with me forever.

Advice to New Students Get involved! It sounds cliche but it is truly the best advice to give new students. You only get out of life what you put into it. Seek out new things and meet new people, take every opportunity as it comes to you, be open-minded and of course have fun! Don't sweat the small stuff and try to find the perfect balance between schoolwork and fun with friends!
What I love about being an Arcadia student I love the sense of community and pride that we have at AU. From the second I stepped foot onto campus, I felt the warm and welcoming vibe from everyone I met. We are also very accepting of everyone and it doesn't matter where you come from or what you like, there is a place for you here. I like the opportunity to get to know everyone, both faculty and students because of the small, homey atmosphere yet we offer the opportunity to go explore the world around us as well.
The best part of New Student Orientation My favorite part is Meet Arcadia (a super secret event!) because it unites both old and new students together. I also enjoy seeing new students form fast friendships with their peers and watch as they slowly become a part of the AU family. I think NSO is so much fun for everyone and it is an exciting kick off to the school year!
