Dr. Katherine Moore, assistant professor of Psychology, published research on the limitations of multitasking in the April 2018 issue of Attention, Perception, & Psychophysics.
“Practice reduces set-specific capture costs only superficially” is part of Dr. Moore’s growing body of research on the relationships between perception, attention, and memory. Unfortunately for would-be time-savers, her findings indicate that practice won’t make perfect when it comes to multitasking.
