What is your proudest accomplishment to date?
My proudest accomplishment is placing Top 12 in both of my events for the Track & Field Public League Championships!
Why did you choose Arcadia?
I chose Arcadia because I feel a sense of growth. When stepping on campus, I immediately felt at ease, like it was meant for me. I, of course, fell in love with the Castle, but what grasped me more was the beautiful athletic center! The gym?? The nutritionist pod?? The recovery center?? It’s all a chef’s kiss! As for the events, clubs, and social media accounts I happened to come across (in other words, snooped), I enjoyed seeing the overall inclusion, joy, and unapologetic expression for everyone on campus!
What are you most looking forward to?
I am most looking forward to finding myself all on my own. Between the variety of people I’ll meet and the opportunities and doors that will open, I am excited about the future possibilities! Specifically, I want to join clubs, and create my own soon! The clubs I’d like to join are the Podcast/Radio Show, Poetry, Photography, Cooking, and Baking clubs!
What do you hope to accomplish at Arcadia?
I hope to build a better version of myself as well as a positive community of friendship! Within this better version of myself, I want to be a greater athlete, content creator, and Child of God! Within a positive community of friendship, I want to attract people of all kinds. People who are passionate about different things, different cultures, and perspectives all interest me!
If there’s anyone into Art Therapy or Building Greater Habits (Gym, Bible Study, Painting, Content Creation), definitely add me on social media (@itsdestinyjordan), or contact me through email!
