Why did you choose Arcadia?

Arcadia first caught my attention when I saw the castle. As an aspiring History major, I found the ambiance of the castle very appealing. When I looked more deeply into the History program, I saw that it covered so much of what I loved to study, and things I hoped to explore more thoroughly.

What are you most looking forward to?

I’m most looking forward to expanding my knowledge of History and meeting people who share some of the same interests that I do. I’ve met historians who focus on one specific area, but now that I’m majoring in history, I have an opportunity to interact with people and discover more about many different concentrations in one subject.

What do you hope to accomplish at Arcadia?

I have always loved writing, and want to write Historical Fiction. I hope that I can write something anyone can enjoy, even people who aren’t keen on history. I hope to have my first book published while I’m at Arcadia and expand my knowledge on other aspects of history so I can continue writing and create new ideas that everyone will enjoy. I hope people will be enjoying my books while learning about different parts of history.
