Dr. Ned Wolff, professor of Computer Science and Mathematics, was awarded the Teacher Excellence Award by the Philadelphia branch of the American Statistical Association. He’ll receive this award at an event on March 29.

Colleagues and students submitted letters of recommendation to the organization, noting Dr. Wolff’s years of dedication at Arcadia University and his unique way of engaging students both in and out of the classroom. Dr. Wolff said while he is honored by the award, he is more touched by the kind words of the letters.

“It’s a wonderful feeling after teaching for 42 years at Arcadia– it’s a nice end of career recognition,” said Dr. Wolff. “If I’ve helped students, it’s only paying it forward from the professors that helped me along the way.”
