To schedule an appointment with a peer tutor, students should join the Virtual LRN (students must be logged from portalguard.arcadia.edu, then they can follow the link). In the Virtual LRN students will find instructions for scheduling an appointment. Tutoring is available for most undergraduate courses in every department. Study Assistants (advanced upper class peer tutors) can also support students with academic skills and strategies, such as time management, organization, and test-taking skills.

Drop-in hours will be held Monday through Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. with the LRN’s Super Tutors beginning the first week of classes. These tutors are Graduate Assistants in Physical Therapy, Physician’s Assistant, and Forensic Science. Students can drop in for tutoring for most Biology, Global Business, or Psychology courses as well as General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The schedule and Zoom session codes will be available in the Virtual LRN.

Hours for tutoring are Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Any student who cannot find an appointment with a tutor on the schedule should email tutor@arcadia.edu. 

The Virtual LRN in Canvas is “open” 24-7. In the Virtual LRN, students will also find resources and videos for academic support. If students have any other questions or concerns regarding academic support, they can email tutor@arcadia.edu.
