Because Arcadia: Student Blog

Hi everyone! My name is Brooke Stephens, and I am a senior in biomedical engineering at The Ohio State University. I can’t even believe that graduation is less than a year away. So, I want to make this last year of college really count. I’m hoping that this STEM research in Brisbane, Australia will do just that. Being from Cincinnati, I would have never guessed that I would attend a university on the other side of the world. But, I couldn’t be more excited for this trip of a lifetime! Get ready to join me on my adventures around Australia for my summer (Australia’s winter). I know that these seven weeks will fly by, so I’m glad that I can record all of my experiences on this blog.
