How Arcadia Influenced My Path
When I graduated from Arcadia, there were many paths and possibilities. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, minored in Studio Art, and loved teaching. I recall having my science books in one hand and my art supplies in another, while running to Boyer Hall. Arcadia made a path for me to excel in science research, use my creativity, and educate others. I can utilize my love of education and imagination in science research.
Greatest Achievement
When I received an award of recognition from the Cancer Research Department at Indiana University School of Medicine. This was a pivotal moment in my life, because I realized that I am capable of making a positive difference in science research.
In Five Years…
My mission is to provide pioneering educational mentoring and advocate for a resilient, interactive, global community in science, research, and education. My goal is to acquire my Ph.D. with a focus on research in bioinformatics and cancer genetics. I also plan to initiate an organization that mentors high school and recent undergraduates in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to help establish their career goals.
My mission is to provide pioneering educational mentoring and advocate for a resilient, interactive, global community in science, research, and education.
