Arcadia’s Felipe Rossi Earns New Professional Award from Mid-Atlantic College Association
Genesis Felipe Rossi, campus life coordinator at Arcadia University, was recognized with the Ann Webster New Professional Award at the Mid-Atlantic Association of College and University Housing Officers’ annual conference in October. The award is presented for outstanding contributions by professionals who have been in the housing and residence life field for fewer than four years.
Felipe Rossi, who joined Arcadia in August 2021, was recognized for her leadership capability and for going above and beyond to help in several capacities across campus. In addition to her duties as campus life coordinator, Rossi advises the Student Programming Board and jumped in to fill the role of interim assistant director for Orientation. She helped to plan and execute several student-oriented events, including Arcadia’s spring formal and spring concert.
“It felt great to be recognized and I hope to continue making meaningful experiences for my students,” said Felipe Rossi.
