Stamey Wins National Award for Theatrical Design
Robin Stamey ’10 was the Region II winner of a National Barbizon Award for Theatrical Design at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for Region II on Jan. 14 for her light design for Arcadia University’s production of Home. The Barbizon awards give outstanding student designers national recognition and the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Kennedy Center. Designs are appraised on the basis of quality, effectiveness, originality, and rendering techniques. Stamey will be going to the National Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., in April. She previously was awarded a Region II Certificate of Merit for Excellence for Lighting Design.
