Grad Knight to Know: Holly Moore ’23MPH
When Holly Moore graduates from Arcadia University this May with a master’s degree in Public Health, it won’t be the last she sees of higher education.
“My next step is to incorporate my public health knowledge into a clinical position, so I will be applying to Physician Assistant programs,” the Moraga, Calif., native said. “Ultimately, I hope to empower underserved populations and help them develop community-run health centers that address clinical needs in addition to other social determinants of health.”
After earning her B.S. in Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020, Moore sought an MPH program that offered a global perspective. “Arcadia’s focus on integrating a global learning lens was a unique feature of the school that I was not able to identify at many other institutions. Especially within the health field, this is vital for cultivating future professionals that lead with a sense of humility and respect,” she said.
When not in the classroom, Moore can be found in the kitchen doing anything other than cleaning dishes, on a volleyball court, or cozying up to read or crochet.
