The Dean of Students Leadership Award, presented annually to honor senior students for their influence on others, commitment to Arcadia University, and constant efforts to enhance student life at Arcadia University, has been renamed the Janet E. Walbert Leadership Award. Josh Stern, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, received permission from President Jerry Greiner to rename the award in Jan Walbert’s honor after her 21 years of dedicated leadership as Vice President for Student Affairs. The plaques bearing the names of past award recipients now reflect this change and are proudly displayed around a portrait of Walbert in the Student Affairs Office.
