Study Abroad in Spain, with Two Suitcases?
Cassie Paulk ’13, her visa for Spain in hand after 14,000 steps in New York City, ponders that important question many ask as they prepare to study abroad, “How I am going to fit my life into two suitcases?”
A Spanish Cultural Studies major, Paulk is headed to Spain in January.
“I have a lot of stuff, some of my friends say I have too much stuff, but I disagree. I love clothes, shoes and bag. Which is going to be difficult to figure out what i will need or what are the most important things that I wear. Because of the culture I know that, as much as I love them, I will bring only a few pairs of sweatpants over. Another thing that I need to figure out is what ‘things’ I am bringing over because I love having pictures and little things that my family and friends have given me with me where ever I go. But I know that I will not be able to bring all of these things with me.” Read more on Paulk’s blog.
