Dr. John Hoffman, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, cut the ribbon during the Jan. 22 opening ceremonies of Arcadia’s Crime Scene House at 2063 Church Road. Also present were Dr. Karen Scott, director and associate professor of forensic science, and Montgomery County law enforcement officials Lieutenant Al Stewart (who also teaches forensic science at Arcadia), Sheriff Russell Bono, and Deputy Director Jesse Stemple. After the ribbon cutting, students from Phoenixville Area High School participated in a mock crime scene at the house.
