Lauren Hoopes ’24MSFS Presents at National Forensic Science Week Symposium
Lauren Hoopes ’24MSFS, a current second-year student in the Master of Science in Forensic Science Program at Arcadia University, presented her research on the investigation of handling time on the deposition and persistence of trace DNA in pickpocket scenarios at the 2023 Graduate Research Symposium & Poster Session hosted by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the Forensic Technology Center of Excellence (FTCOE) during National Forensic Science Week.
This research, conducted in the Forensic Molecular Biology laboratory led by Dr. Oldoni, was in part funded by the Dr. Thomas P. Dougherty Endowed Faculty-Student Research Award awarded to Dr. Oldoni.
