Arcadia Wins Two “Best of District II” CASE Awards

Arcadia University’s Office of Marketing and Communications (MarCom) has received two Best of District II Awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

The first winning entry, titled “Exploring London at Sunset,” is a photo of a group of students along the river Thames with Big Ben and the sunset in the background. This shot was taken by former assistant director of photography at Arcadia, Brandon Hodnett, and was later used as the cover image for the spring/summer 2022 issue of Arcadia magazine.

The second winning entry is Arcadia’s acceptance packet that was sent to accepted students in the class of 2027. Including the phrase “Live Your Best Life” and colorful flaps to open for each letter, admitted students are met with a game soon after opening their mailboxes. The piece is also designed to allow for further inserts in the envelope, including the official Acceptance letter, stickers, and Arcadia swag. It’s bold, modern, and interactive, giving incoming students a peek into life at Arcadia.

CASE is a global nonprofit association dedicated to recognizing extraordinary work done by educational advancement professionals. Winners of the Best of District II Awards will be acknowledged at the District II Annual Conference, held in Baltimore, Md., from February 11-13.
