Fostering Success for Foster Care Youth
The H.O.M.E. Program focuses on fostering success for former foster care youth entering college. H.O.M.E. Scholars are undergraduate students who are provided with financial support, mentorship opportunities, and university resources.
Requirements to qualify as a H.O.M.E. Scholar
- Must have experienced at least 1 day of foster care
- Full-time first-year with a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Must maintain 12 credits or above a semester
- Must maintain a job or internship at Arcadia University
How to apply to the H.O.M.E. Scholars program
- Must be accepted to Arcadia University
- Ensure that FAFSA is submitted and foster care background is disclosed
- You will receive an email with the H.O.M.E. Scholars Program application
- Submit your personal statement and any supporting documents needed
- Accept interview invitations sent to you by the Director of the program
