Belonging: One of Six Dimensions of Well-being
At Arcadia University, belonging is one of the six dimensions of well-being and involves the practices of:
- Maintaining healthy relationships, enjoying being with others, developing friendships and intimate relations, caring about others, and letting others care about you.
- Contributing to and valuing the diversity of our community.
- Subjective feelings of meaningful connections with social groups, places, and individual and collective experiences.

Arcadia we have resources that can assist with creating a sense of belonging.
Program Calendar
- Throughout campus each month you will be able to find a program calendar of all of the university events happening within the month! Programs are offered by various departments.
- Events on campus can also be found on Modern Campus Involve!
Clubs and Organizations
- There are more than 20 clubs that you can become a member of and if you are interested in starting a club you will need to have 5 interested members and an advisor in order to be eligible to start a club. For more information regarding clubs and Organizations, click here!
Campus Employment
- Having an on campus job is a great resource to keep you connected on campus with campus offices while also making money. Jobs on campus can be found on the Career Launchpad
Residential Engagement
- Within the Residence Halls there are programs on a weekly basis to help residents form connections. Look out for upcoming programs on RA Bulletin Boards and on instagram (@auresidencelife)
Commuter Engagement
- Commuter students are welcome to all campus programs and also are able to utilize the Commuter Lounge (located in the Commons 1st Floor) for a home away from home!
Combating Anti-Black Racism
- (CABR) is a University-wide initiative that is infused in entire campus experience to create a sense of belonging for our students of color.
