Intellectual Well-Being
One of Arcadia University’s lived values is Intellectual Freedom. As a community we actively seek new perspectives and enter all learning environments in good faith and with an open mind. We consider our own experiences while honoring those of others. We embrace inquiry, analysis, and other perspectives.
Intellectual well-being refers to the ability to open our minds to new ideas and experiences that can be applied to personal decisions, group interaction, and community betterment. It is also thinking critically, being curious and creative, problem solving, and using challenges as opportunities for growth inside and outside the classroom and the office. It is being a lifelong learner.
